Overview
An AI-course assignment that treats a cryptarithmetic puzzle as a search problem over letter-to-digit assignments, comparing A*, depth-first backtracking, and breadth-first search.
Interactive demo
Breadth-first, depth-first backtracking, and a column-wise constraint search, each counting nodes expanded. Leading zeros are rejected, which the original DFS did not enforce.
